Think Green

I'm thinking spring-green thoughts this week in honor of St. Patrick's Day, March 17. The vintage postcard above caught my eye because it has roses, of course. Its verse is more St. Valentine than St. Pat, but I like it anyway. Hope your week is a green one!

  3. Happy St. Patrick's Day to you--I'm definitely thinking green, too--in the garden, of course!

I've been reading about your squill--isn't it interesting how certain plants pop up where you least expect them. I've been accusing squirrels or some other critter for eating all my crocus bulbs, when lo and behold, I spotted one blooming yesterday. I hope your squill do multiply; a field of blue sounds heavenly to me.

And thanks for the tip on the book. I tend to skim through gardening books, rather than really read them, but this one sounds like a fun read.
