These are the random postings of a woman who lives in rural Ohio. Julena was my grandmother's name, and I've taken it as my online name. I write about nature and gardening, especially roses; creative pursuits such as tatting and watercolor painting; and whatever else captures my fancy on any given day.
i love vintage post cards. I want to get a whole bunch of gardening style ones but have no luck online. I need to check the local antiue shops. thanks for posting!
ReplyDeleteNice St. Patrick's day theme.

ReplyDeleteWishing you a wonderful St Patrick's Day!

Happy St. Patrick's Day to you--I'm definitely thinking green, too--in the garden, of course!
ReplyDeleteI've been reading about your squill--isn't it interesting how certain plants pop up where you least expect them. I've been accusing squirrels or some other critter for eating all my crocus bulbs, when lo and behold, I spotted one blooming yesterday. I hope your squill do multiply; a field of blue sounds heavenly to me.
And thanks for the tip on the book. I tend to skim through gardening books, rather than really read them, but this one sounds like a fun read.
